CHICAGO (WLS) – Easter is coming, but you still have time to plan your menu. As for dessert, what about pancakes?

Chef Dominique Tougné from French quiche in Lincoln Park shares a recipe for making Strawberry, Banana, and Chocolate Pancake. It offers a free course on instagram at 11 a.m. Saturday.

French Quiche offers several fresh crepes every day. The cafe is located at 2210 N. Halsted St.

Strawberry and Chocolate Banana Crepe

For 4 people

– 9 oz. flour
– 2 cups of whole milk
– 2 teaspoons of sugar
– 4 whole eggs

– 1 oz. melted butter
– 1 pinch of salt
– 4 teaspoons of chocolate ganache
– 1 sliced ​​banana
– 4 sliced ​​strawberries
– 4 teaspoons of strawberry filling
– Whipped cream
– Granulated sugar

1. Mix flour, sugar, salt
2. Mix milk, eggs
3. Pour the milk and egg mixture over the flour mixture
4. Add melted butter
5. In a non-stick pan, pour a generous amount of pancake batter, cook for 1 minute then turn it over and cook again for 1 minute
6. While still hot, add the chocolate ganache, banana slices and strawberries.
7. Add whipped cream then fold and serve after adding powdered sugar on top
