Dustin’s Adventureland is bringing back the Skook Easter Bunny Tour for the third year in a row.
In 2019, before Dustin’s Adventureland became an organization, its members planned Dustin’s Special Egg Hunt, which was an egg hunt for children with special needs.
More than 100 children participated in the event and it was a great success. The organization had planned to hold an egg hunt every year, but then COVID happened.
That didn’t stop the band from coming up with ideas, which led to the Skook Easter Bunny Tour.
In 2020 and 2021 the tour got longer and longer and last year the Easter Bunny visited 17 communities in Schuylkill County.
Because COVID is still impacting society and many children who attend the Egg Hunt have compromised immune systems, Dustin’s Adventureland has announced that the Egg Hunt has been canceled for a third year.
But that means the Easter Bunny will make its third trip around the Skook in 2022.
Dustin’s Adventureland is currently looking for sponsors for the communities the Easter Bunny will visit. Some communities have already received sponsorships.
Any individual, group or organization that would like to sponsor one, please contact Dustins Adventureland via FB or contact Jeff at 570-527-6040.
The sponsorship would be $100 per municipality and this covers the cost of the candies that will be launched.
The sponsor’s company or family is also invited to participate in the tour with a vehicle or magnets can be placed on the lead vehicle.
The exact dates and times of each of these parades are yet to be determined.

- Pottsville – Fratellos Bistro and Gina Gargano
- Palo Alto – Uncle Dunkel Rentals
- Girardville – McDonald’s dinner
- Shenandoah – Skook News

- Ashland – Skook News

Dustin’s Adventureland is a non-profit organization that was organized to remove barriers for children with disabilities or special needs. The nonprofit’s mission is to build Schuylkill County’s first all-inclusive playground in Minersville that will be designed specifically for these children.
To date, thanks to donations and fundraising, the group is less than $50,000 from its goal.
