Where to eat on Easter Sunday 2021 in Rutherford County

Last year the Easter Sunday dinner tables were empty or half full. Many restaurants have been closed as people huddled at home, thanks to COVID-19.
This year will be different.
With vaccinations and dwindling numbers, many families are choosing to eat out for Easter while some are hosting family gatherings.
Here are a few places that will be open this Easter, from dine-in and take-out to hot-and-serve dining.

⢠Readyville Mill

Enjoy an Easter dinner at a historic mill located just outside of Murfreesboro in Readyville. Reservations are required and places are limited. Dial 615-563-6455.
⢠Party Poultry
127 SE Broad St., Murfreesboro
Enjoy Party Fowl’s regular menu or brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No reservation is required. Visit partyfowl.com to see the menu.
⢠Short Mountain Distillery
There will be an Easter egg hunt and brunch on Easter Sunday at the Short Mountain Distillery.
Egg hunts will be free for children 12 and under and will include prize baskets and a special Easter Bunny appearance. The hunts are free and at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. You do not need to eat at the restaurant to participate. Outdoor food and drink will be available.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a special brunch menu and specialty cocktails. Reservations are required by emailing reservations@shortmountaindistillery.com. Visit shortmountaindistillery.com to learn more about the distillery.

You don’t need reservations to enjoy a meal here on Easter Sunday, unless you’re having a big party. Call 615-396-8484 to learn more.
⢠Sources of hops
6790 John Bragg Highway, Murfreesboro
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Easter Sunday, Sources of hops will offer beer specials and brunches as well as live music.
Hop Springs will also host an Easter event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be a variety of family activities including age-appropriate egg hunts, face painting, inflatables, basket building, crafts, plant sales, games and prices.
There will also be a special appearance from Bonnie the Miniature Horse and the Easter Bunny. A $5 donation to attend the event will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
